Truth be told, Arnold Schwarzenegger became famous because of his muscles and his movies, and with three boys in the house we sure watched a lot of those. However, it’s not so much the muscles or the movies that impressed me about the man, but rather his immense wisdom. It’s no surprise that he knows the secrets to success.
I know people always make fun of his accent, because after all these years that he has been living in the United States it is still very strong. But behind that heavy Austrian accent is a very smart man, and a very successful man. Not only in the world of sports or Hollywood but also in business and politics.

What does success mean to you? If you don’t know and don’t have a clear vision of what success means to you it will be almost impossible to achieve it.
Since we are all different, success will mean different things to you and me. To some people success is just getting up in the morning. To others it means reaching the lifestyle of their dreams.
Success isn’t a destination. It’s a journey. It has peaks and valleys, twists and turns and yes, also the occasional road block.
Success needs planning. But before you can plan you need to know exactly what you want. That’s where the clear vision comes into play.

Success in Network Marketing
Absolutely! If you like it or not your daily activities or lack thereof, greatly influence whether you will have success in network marketing or not. If you are falling short on your goals maybe you should take a closer look and evaluate the reasons why.
Are your daily habits leading to success or failure?
It is very tempting to hop out of bed, firing up your laptop and see if “you’ve got mail.” But starting out your day by checking your email first thing in the morning might not be a good idea.

Not everyone joining the network marketing industry will make it to the top. Newcomers are often lured in with the promise …Oh, it’s easy. Anyone can do it. But to have success in network marketing it really takes a special kind of person. So, what traits do all “Successful Network Marketers” have in common?
Let’s take a look…
Successful network marketers lead by example. They are totally plugged in. You can find them on every conference or training call as well as company events. They are constantly improving themselves through reading books, listening to audio or watching video courses or attending seminars.

Self-discipline Key to Achieving Your Goals
Achieving your goals is a lot easier if you practice self-discipline on a daily basis.
Let me explain what I mean by that.
I got up this morning and looked at my “To Do List” for today. It’s not very long, but there are some items on it which I really dislike doing. However, they are important tasks that I need to do in order to move my business forward.
Now, would it really make such a big difference if I just skipped today and had some fun instead? At first thought, no, probably not.

Success in Network Marketing
Success in network marketing starts (and ends) with YOU. Have you ever heard that?
If that is news to you, listen up.
Can you relate to this scenario?
You are doing everything your upline sponsor tells you to do. You are using the tools he or she recommends. You attend all company meetings and listen to every single conference call. Yet, … for some reason you don’t see the network marketing success you would like to have.
What’s wrong?
One important ingredient is missing. Actually, the most important ingredient is missing.

"Rinse and Repeat" Formula for a Successful Network Marketing Business
So, just what is this formula for a successful network marketing business?
It’s been said, that our habits predict our future. I believe that to be true. How about you?
Have you ever noticed that the more you do something the better you get at doing it? You can take anything in life and you will see that there is actually some truth to it.
Remember when you first learned to ride a bike?
You were wobbly. You knuckles turned white because you were holding on to those handle bars for dear life. You prayed that your dad (or mom, or whoever was holding on to the bike to keep you stable and give you support) wouldn’t let go.

Developing an Attitude of Gratitude!
Hmm, I wonder.
I’ve been reading quite a bit about “developing an attitude of gratitude” lately.
Taking things for granted is never a good thing.
Have you ever noticed that when you loose something you suddenly (and sometimes painfully) notice its value to you?
I try hard not to take anything for granted, but this morning when I sat down on my computer I noticed that I had taken for granted the very things that are KEY to my business success.
Here are just a few things I had totally taken for granted …

If you have been following my blog for a while you may have noticed that I like to tell stories to illustrate a point. Well, here’s another one …
Which Way Is Success?
A man meets a successful person on the road and asks him, “which way is success?”
The successful person speaks no words, he just points to a place off in the distance.
The man, thrilled by the prospect of quick and easy success, rushes off in the direction he was sent to. Suddenly, there comes a loud “SPLAT.” After a while, the man comes limping back, tattered and stunned, assuming he must have misunderstood the message.

Or …What not to do when you first start out in network marketing.
Let’s be totally honest here. As new network marketers just starting out in the industry we all have made some mistakes. I know I certainly have made my share. That’s just part of the learning curve. As long as we learn from our mistakes and fail forward, we’ll be alright.
So, here are probably the 7 most common mistakes we make as brand new network marketers…
1) Don’t have a Part-time Attitude
It’s certainly okay to build your network marketing business part-time and alongside your regular job in the beginning. What’s not okay, is having a part-time attitude about it. Many new networkers fail because they treat their business like a hobby. This will reflect in your commission check. So, don’t dabble in your business…

Woody has been living in our backyard for a couple of years now. Every spring he would show up and peck on our trees and on occasion also on our house. Which especially made my husband mad. Not just because of the horrible noise, (woodpeckers sound like little sledgehammers), but also because of the damage. Our neighbors actually had to redo the top of their chimney because of Woody’s pecking.
Actually, I found him pretty annoying too, until, earlier this year when I stumbled upon his “perfect work of art” in our backyard. Looks like Woody has decided to move in permanently with us and built his home in one of our old tree stumps.
I stood in total amazement when I saw the perfect circle. I even went as far as to

While browsing around the BetterNetworker.com site over the weekend I found a blog post I had posted there about a year ago. I thought it would be a good one to share with all of you today to start the week off on the right foot.
Lessons From A Blender
As I strolled into the kitchen that morning for my second cup of coffee, I saw my husband put huge chunks of ice into the blender for his chocolate shake. I looked at him and the first words out of my mouth were, …
