With all the holiday spirit around me I realize how blessed I have been this past year,  blessed because I have had the privilege of spending it with you all my dear readers.

As this year is slowly coming to an end I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support, your valuable feedback, your great encouragement and your awesome friendships. I have no words to express my tremendous gratitude. Thank You!

The Enlightened Networker

This Thursday, people in the United States will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day. To me this is a special day, not only because of the delicious food I will be serving my family, but also because I will be surrounded by my loved ones, those who are dear to my heart.

That alone is enough reason for me to be “thankful.”  But another reason Thanksgiving is special to me is because it marks the beginning of the holiday season which has always been a very special time of year for me.

Well, as you know, I took a little break the past two weeks. While I was hoping I would be able to stay away from the online world completely and immerse myself in a good book or two …

Well, I didn’t really manage to do that.

It seems when you are involved in an online business there’s ALWAYS something to do, ALWAYS something new to learn and at my age, learning goes a little slower. Those old gray cells don’t pick things up as fast as they used to. Maybe I should buy some of those video games for seniors they advertise on TV. Maybe those would help stimulate my brain and make things easier to comprehend and remember.

The spotlight is on the top commentator award winners for the month of July. Is it just me, or is every month passing by faster than the previous one? And for some reason the closer it gets to years end the faster it goes. Hold on to your britches J

In any case, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to write this post of appreciation today as this is one of my favorite topics to write about.

Normally I highlight the top 3 commentators for the month unless there are more who earned the top commentator award. This month we have five individuals who have achieved this.

I can’t believe that half of 2011 is already gone. What happened? It seems like just yesterday that I took the decorations off of the Christmas tree and it won’t be long before the first snowflakes start to fall again here in Colorado. Is it just me, or does time go by faster as you get older? (Sigh)

But I don’t want to get sentimental, because today is a day of celebration and I would like for you all to celebrate with me.

As always at the beginning of the month I would like to highlight, congratulate and thank my Top Commentators. These are not just fellow bloggers but people I consider my friends.

Ah, what better way to start out a new month than by recognizing those who make The Enlightened Networker what it is? Highlighting my top supporters is my favorite blog post every month.

Let me start off with giving my heart-felt thank you to each and every one of you who visit my blog and take the time to leave your thoughts and add to the conversation.

I truly appreciate all of you.

Gosh, I can’t believe another month has past. Where does the time go? The first half of the year is almost over. Somebody, please stop the clock.

Well, I don’t think that’s possible. We may be able to stop the clock, but time will still move forward. So I guess, I just have to deal with it.

The good news is that it’s time for another round of applause for my top supporters and without further ado here they are…

Can a wrong number be the right number after all? You tell me. In any case, I had the most interesting phone call a couple of weeks ago.

It was Saturday morning and I was going about business as usual when our phone rang. I glanced over to check Caller ID, but because it was our second line, Caller ID didn’t show up. So after the second or third ring I picked up.

If you are a regular visitor to “The Enlightened Networker” you know that I highlight my Top Commentators for the past month at the beginning of the new month. And this being April 1^st, oh gosh, “April Fools Day”, it’s this time again.

Guess what? It’s this time again. Time to say “Thank You” and appreciate some of the great people who through sharing their valuable input and thoughts make this blog the success it has been enjoying over the past year or so.

I am so very thankful to all of you who visit and please know that I deeply appreciate every single one of you.

At the beginning of every month I highlight and give thanks to the top supporters of my blog for the previous month. I also share one post of each person on the list, that I liked the most during that month.

I started this last month because I thought it was such a fabulous way to show my gratitude and appreciation to those who are regular visitors here.

It is with great gratitude that I announce the top 5 commenters of The Enlightened Networker for January. (By the way, these individuals all have made a name of themselves in the blogosphere. So if you haven’t visited their blogs yet, make sure you do so and bookmark them as well.)

Oliver Tausend, a good friend a fellow network marketer started acknowledging his blogs top supporters at the end of each month. Marcus Baker, another good friend picked up on it and that’s where I found this excellent idea which I will implement from now on on my own blog.

I think this is an awesome way to give back and thank those who are loyal supporters of The Enlightened  Networker. By the way, if you would like to follow suit and do this as well, it’s pretty easy to do. You see, I have installed a little plugin called “Top Commentors Widget” that keeps track of my top commentors for me. So, at the end of the month I just have to check who my top commentors are and voila the work is done for me. Well, except for writing my ‘thank you post’ of course =)
