Stop sabotaging your own network marketing success

Success in Network Marketing

Success in network marketing starts (and ends) with YOU. Have you ever heard that?

If that is news to you, listen up.

Can you relate to this scenario?

You are doing everything your upline sponsor tells you to do. You are using the tools he or she recommends. You attend all company meetings and listen to every single conference call. Yet, … for some reason you don’t see the network marketing success you would like to have.

What’s wrong?

One important ingredient is missing. Actually, the most important ingredient is missing.

The Star Thrower

The Starfish Story

I thought it was time for another story. I love stories. Do you?

Stories have a way to connect and stay with us like nothing else ever could. They tap into our inner feelings and make us part of it. The reason why we remember stories is because they pull on our emotional strings. … They make us think and they make us feel. And it’s that feeling that helps us remember.

The story I am going to tell you today is one of my all-time favorites.

So… without further ado, here it is…

What Does A Little Boy, A Shovel and Horse Manure Have To Do With Network Marketing?

Attitude is Everything Good question! The answer is, actually, quite a bit.

Read on to find out….

A man came across a young boy who happy as could be was shoveling horse manure. There was a big pile of it and the boy would dig up shovel full after shovel full and toss it aside.

“What a stinky job”, the man thought to himself, “who would want to do that?”  But the boy seemed to get happier with every load he tossed aside.

Finally the man couldn’t stand it any longer and he asked the boy, “what are you doing?”

The boy, with a smile from ear to ear answered, …

Yep, I feel like a million bucks today.

What a difference a day makes, because yesterday I certainly didn’t feel anywhere close to that. More like a nickel maybe.

Sometimes life, circumstances or people drop a boulder in your way and then sheepishly watch in the woods to see how you handle it.

Well, you have two options …

You either climb over it, or find a way around it. But… under no circumstances do you let that boulder stop you from moving forward.

Besides, …tomorrow is another day. And who knows what it will bring.

I could have gone to bed last night, sucking my thumb and feeling sorry for myself, …

What Makes You Think You Are Not A Good Enough Network Marketer?

Keep throwing the ball up! Success doesn’t come from always succeeding.

It’s not a straight shot to the top. Just like in life itself, there are peaks and valleys, ups and downs. It takes hard work, dedication, perceverance, and yes, failure too. But as long as you fail forward, believe in yourself and never let doubt creep in, you’ll be alright.

Someone shared this quote from Michael Jordan with me…

“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times, I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot …

How Often Do You Find Yourself Saying: “I Wish I Had Started …”

You reap what you sow Start small, but DO start.

You can’t finish if you never start.

A Chinese proverb says, “The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.”

Even the smallest accomplishment has great value.

How’s that?

Because it gets the ball rolling and it sets in motion a positive momentum. Once you begin to create value, you easily and naturally

You Are What You Think

By Ilka Flood

Just like you are what you eat you also are what you think.
If you are thinking about debt and how on earth to pay your
bills that’s exactly what you get more of. More bills and more debt.

Turn it around and think of abundance. Create vivid pictures in
your mind of what you would do if you had no money worries.

What would your life look like? What house would you live in?
Be as specific as you possibly can. What would it look like?
Picture every room, the floors, the carpet, the furniture, the
pictures on the wall. Imagine your beautiful back yard with
flowers and trees. Just gorgeous. Imagine your family and
friends on your new deck having a good time at your grill party.

What car would you drive? What model? What color. Imagine
the smell of the leather seats. Close your eyes. Can you see
it parked in the drive way of your brand new house?

Picture yourself eating out at a very expensive restaurant. Pick
your favorite entree from the menu without scanning the right column.

Where would you go for vacation? Picture yourself already there.

Next time you feel blue and discouraged find a quiet place and
think about what your life would be like without money worries.

You think anyway…might as well think BIG!

It Could’t Be Done

A Poem by Edgar A. Guest

Somebody said that it couldn’t be done,
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it.

Somebody scoffed: “Oh, you’ll never do that;
At least no one ever has done it”;
But he took off his coat and he took off his hat,
And the first thing we knew he’d begun it.
With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quiddit,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it.

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
There are thousands to prophesy failure;
There are thousands to point out to you, one by one,
The dangers that wait to assail you.
But just buckle in with a bit of a grin,
Just take off your coat and go to it;
Just start to sing as you tackle the thing
That “cannot be done,” and you’ll do it.

Don’t Ever Learn How To Quit

Network marketing is not easy. Nobody said it ways. It’s a very tough industry but also very rewarding. You will be rewarded handsomely for your efforts and your income will be in direct proportion to the work you do. 19 out of 20 people who start a home-based business quit. So if you are the ONE out of the nineteen who doesn’t, congratulations, consider yourself a leader.

We all feel like quitting some time. Leaders are those who never do. Leaders keep going when the going gets tough and they encourage those who follow them.

I would like to share this little poem with you. Save it on your desktop and the next time you feel like quitting…READ IT!

**DON’T QUIT**

When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
when the road you’re trudging seems up hill;
when the funds are low and debts are high;
and you want to smile, but have to sigh;
when care is pressing you down a bit,
rest if you must, but don’t quit.

Success is failure turned inside out;
the silver lining of the clouds of doubt;
and you never can tell how close you are;
it may be near when it seems far.

So, stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit.
It’s when things go wrong that you mustn’t quit.
