Absolutely! Very true statement. I used to tell my kids, “garbage in garbage out” when they were watching trash TV.

However, then I realized, although it was very true, it was also very negative. Rather than talking down to them I tried to get them to switch channels.

I feel I have to explain the brownie thing. He didn’t bake them himself. Our company has a ‘gift section’ where you can send brownies, other gifts or gift cards with your cards. I’d never eat brownies from a stranger either, LOL.

Funny story about the bottled water. But I really don’t blame you.

Great story! There is a fine line between tormenting someone about joining your business and keeping yourself in the forefront of thier mind. This gentleman you mentioned has it down pat! I'm not so sure I would have eaten the brownies from a stranger. Last year someone dropped off a case of bottled water on our front porch. I refused to drink it or let Nicholas have it considering my hubs' occupation. Come to find out it was the neighbor who had left it. Have a great evening!
