I do the same thing you do. I do the more challenging and difficult tasks in the morning when my mind is still fresh and the rest later in the day.

Also on days, when I absolutely can’t focus no matter how hard I try, I do tasks that require ‘no thinking.’ Like updating my database, or working on images for campaigns for example.

Work everyday can be a routine, but here’s what I do: I do the more difficult or challenging tasks in the morning and the lighter, easier ones later in the day. always works well for me! What about you?

There are days when it’s tempting to jump all over the place and do several things at the same time but then again, as you’ve said, focus, focus, focus.

I can relate to ‘jumping all over the place’ too. However, as you can attest, that doesn’t get you anywhere. So now I try very hard to keep focused. That means letting go of some things or putting time limits on such activities as social networking and forums, reading emails, etc. Those are all ‘time suckers.’

Just keep your eye on the prize, Susan, on you’ll get there.

I can relate to the “sticking to it” part. It’s very hard, but the only way if you want o reach your goal.

I have my office downstairs where all the “family action” happens. So I literally have to close my door and tell everyone “when the door is closed, don’t come in.” Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

I do not know where they come up with that 21 day rule on building habits, but I can attest to it as it has worked a number of times on me.

But what I am wondering is why it takes the full 21 days for good habits and only 2 days for bad ones
