		<description>Hey Ilka,

Great post. For most change is hard, it goes directly against their belief system – just like the elephant and the stake. No matter how hard they pull, there’s the illusion of something holding them back. The harder they pull, they more they reinforce the existing belief.

But change can be instant, especially when it’s based on the following; ‘new decisions, based on new information’. New info can slide in ‘unchallenged’, and new decisions follow. Interestingly, that’s how beliefs are formed in the first place!

As humans, we’re given the ability to think at a higher level. Unfortunately, we don’t.
At least not in the way we were designed to. For many, ‘free will’ or ‘free thinking’ is just their belief system in disguise… there we go, we’re back to that elephant again.

When we become more (of our-self), we need less. And the control is in letting go of the control. Your words remind me of the Tao; &quot;true sayings seem contradictory. Act by not acting. Do by not doing. The master accomplishes much without doing&quot;. Know thyself, that&#039;s the key. I&#039;ve created a programme around that, it may be of interest.

		<description>Hi Kim,

Thanks for stopping by and for your great feedback!

People have forgotten how to dream. When we were children, what did we dream about? Then we were told, &quot;you&#039;ll never be able to do that,&quot; and we made the biggest mistake of our life. ...We actually believed we couldn&#039;t.

We have to become children again ... and just BELIEVE. &quot;Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will still land among the stars.&quot;

As far as your family members ... show them by doing. Never give up and celebrate even the smallest accomplishments. Keep building on them. If they see your success, they&#039;ll want a piece of it too.

Hope this helps!

		<description>Hi Ilka.

Great article and such a significant reminder as I begin to build my business!

Coming from my background, I&#039;m not new to personal development, but see the need to constantly be striving, always dreaming big, and making it happen. Although, my greatest obstacle is retaining the faith and determination I have in myself while I am surrounded by nay-sayers which is most likely their fear of not being successful, or even still operating under the mindset of an &quot;employee&quot; versus an entrepeneur. Any advice on how I can better manage these family members and encourage them that it is okay to dream big, and to reach for their dreams? It&#039;s almost like some people need the approval to step out of their &quot;comfort&quot; zone and step into a business owner mindset.

Have a GREAT day!

		<description>Hi Dwayne,

Thanks for stopping by! Great to see you!

Yeah, I can see where that could be tricky. However, if that person realizes that after the job they are working on their future it might make things a bit easier.

Have a great week!

		<description>Hi Jerome,

Thank you for your kind words! I truly appreciate them.

You&#039;re right, it&#039;s a whole new ballgame when you are in charge of your own destiny. You can&#039;t afford to be held captive by your self-limiting beliefs. You have to work on yourself to overcome them.

Have an awesome week, Jerome!

Ilka

P.S. I loved your interview with Derek and Monique. I picked up so many gold nuggets. Great job!!</description>
